For my magazine cover i chose to go with a simplistic feel, similar to time magazine. The black and white photo would make it stand out against other magazine covers on the rack today because most magazines are so busy and usually are filled with text and color photos. I also wanted to make the magazine title and all the heading in red so they would stand out against the dark background and it would give good contrast to the entire cover. Bob Marley stood out in my mind when we started this project because his music has with out a doubt stood the test of time and has become even more popular over the past few years.
